The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has officially pulled back the curtain on the 2026 edition of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, revealing an ambitious program under the theme "Timeless Rhythms, Boundless Artistry." Scheduled to run from April 30 to May 10, 2026, the festival continues its legacy as a premier cultural pilgrimage, blending world-class musical performances with a deep immersion into the island’s visual and performing arts heritage.

The musical lineup for 2026 is a masterful cross-generational bridge, featuring a heavy-hitting roster of international stars alongside local virtuosos. Opening Night on April 30 kicks off with a high-energy Caribbean fusion featuring reggae icon Capleton, while the "World Beats" stage on May 9 will host global sensation Tems and the UK’s Queen of Soul, Beverley Knight MBE. Jazz purists have much to look forward to during the "Pure Jazz" sessions, which boast performances by the legendary Branford Marsalis Quartet and the genre-bending bassist Esperanza Spalding.

This year’s "Arts" component is being elevated through the "Art and the City" initiative, which will transform the streets of Castries into an open-air gallery. Orchestrated by the Cultural Development Foundation, this segment features the "Mural Trail," where regional street artists will create permanent installations, and the "Voices of the Underground" spoken-word series. By spreading activations across community venues and the historic Pigeon Island National Landmark, organizers aim to make the festival’s creative energy accessible to every corner of the island.

The festival will reach its crescendo on Sunday, May 10, with "The Ultimate Celebration." This finale at Pigeon Island promises a historic closing set that encapsulates the spirit of the 2026 theme, ensuring that Saint Lucia remains the heartbeat of Caribbean culture for another year. Tickets are now available through the official festival portal, with various premium experience packages tailored for international travelers and local enthusiasts alike.
